Successful home remedies to get rid of fever





The weather is often accompanied by fever, and most people get sick with the slightest change in season. Symptoms include common fever, high body temperature, and head aches.
Although fever is one of the ways in which the body fights infection and protects us from other diseases, no one likes to spend the whole day in bed. So, here are some home remedies to get rid of fever, according to the newspaper "Times of India":


1- Bathing

Bathing in lukewarm water works brilliantly to lower body temperature. Do not try to get rid of the fever by soaking yourself in cold water, because that increases the temperature of the inner part of the body instead of reducing it.


2- Moisturizing the body with sponge

In case you do not want a shower, you can get a sponge bath. Use a sponge wet with water in different areas such as the armpit and thigh to reduce body temperature. You can also put a damp cloth on your forehead and the back of your neck.
Eat hot ginger tea
Eating a cup of hot ginger tea is effective when you have fever. To prepare tea, add half a teaspoon of chopped ginger root in one cup of boiling water. Dismiss it and eat it.


4 - eat hot food

Eating hot is very effective against fever, so you can think of sprinkling some peppers on your foods, because it incites sweating and promotes rapid blood circulation, thus relieving fever symptoms.


5 - treat fever using wet socks

If you are suffering from fever, try using wet socks for treatment. Wash your feet with warm water, before you soak a pair of socks in cold water, and wear them under another pair of dry woolen socks. Wet socks will help you get rid of fever and increase blood circulation throughout the body.





6. Drink plenty of fluids


Keep your body hydrated when you have a fever. Drink at least 8 to 12 cups of water a day to stimulate urine color. Doing so will replace the loss of fluids and minerals from the body.
